Privacy Policy

1. Information handled by Cornerstone

Depending on the features you use, Cornerstone may handle:

• Training profile information: selected sport, experience level, stance, dominance, and onboarding preferences.
• Training information: generated sessions, combo playlists, session duration, completed-session counts, and technique preferences.
• Weight-management information: current weight, target weight, preferred weight unit, fight date, and weight-entry history.
• Progress media: photos and videos that you choose to capture for personal progress tracking.
• Purchase status: whether Google Play reports that your Cornerstone Pro subscription is active, pending, cancelled, or otherwise unavailable.

2. Information stored locally on your device

Cornerstone stores your profile, training history, saved combos, playlists, weight entries, and app settings locally on your device.

Progress photos and videos are stored locally on your device for use in the app’s progress and comparison features. Cornerstone does not upload those photos or videos to our servers.

You can remove locally stored information by using any deletion controls available in the app, clearing Cornerstone’s app storage in Android settings, or uninstalling the app.

3. AI-generated training sessions

Cornerstone uses the Groq API to generate training combinations and session suggestions. When this feature is used, training-related inputs such as sport, experience level, stance, dominance, requested combo count, and the session-generation prompt may be transmitted to Groq for processing.

Cornerstone does not intentionally send your progress photos, progress videos, weight history, payment-card details, contacts, or precise location to Groq.

Groq may process technical information associated with a network request, such as an IP address, under its own privacy practices. You can review Groq’s privacy information at https://groq.com/privacy-policy/ .

4. Google Play Billing

Cornerstone Pro subscriptions are processed by Google Play. Google handles payment credentials and transaction processing. Cornerstone does not receive or store your full payment-card or bank-account details.

The app receives limited subscription information needed to determine whether Pro features should be unlocked. Google’s privacy policy is available at https://policies.google.com/privacy .

5. Camera and media access

Cornerstone accesses the camera or media-capture functionality only when you choose to create a progress photo or video. This access is used to provide the progress-tracking feature requested by you.

Cornerstone does not use your camera in the background and does not use progress media for advertising.

6. How information is used

Information handled by Cornerstone is used to:

• Personalise training sessions and technique guidance.
• Save your training preferences, playlists, and progress.
• Calculate and display weight-management progress.
• Provide local progress-photo and progress-video comparisons.
• Confirm and restore Cornerstone Pro access.
• Maintain, secure, troubleshoot, and improve app functionality.

7. Sharing of information

We do not sell or rent your personal information. Information is disclosed only as needed to operate the app, including:

• Groq, when you request AI-generated training content.
• Google Play, for subscription purchase and entitlement processing.
• Authorities or other parties when required by applicable law, legal process, or to protect users, rights, safety, or app security.

8. Advertising and analytics

Cornerstone does not currently display third-party advertisements and does not currently use a third-party advertising SDK.

Cornerstone does not currently use a third-party analytics SDK. If these practices change, this Privacy Policy and the Google Play Data safety declaration will be updated before or when the change takes effect.

9. Data retention and deletion

Locally stored information remains on your device until you delete it, clear the app’s storage, or uninstall Cornerstone.

Information processed by Groq or Google may be retained according to their respective terms and privacy policies.

Cornerstone currently does not require an account, so there is no Cornerstone cloud account to delete.

10. Security

We use reasonable technical measures intended to protect information handled by the app. Network requests to third-party services are sent using encrypted HTTPS connections. However, no method of electronic storage or transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

11. Health and fitness notice

Cornerstone is a training and progress-tracking tool. It does not provide medical diagnosis, treatment, or emergency services. Weight-cutting and combat-sports training can involve health risks. Seek advice from a qualified coach and healthcare professional before making significant changes to training, hydration, nutrition, or body weight.

12. Children’s privacy

Cornerstone does not provide account creation and does not knowingly seek to collect personal information from children. Users who are below the age required to consent under applicable law should use the app only with the involvement of a parent or legal guardian and appropriate coaching supervision.

13. Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when Cornerstone’s features, data practices, third-party services, or legal obligations change. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.
